Sustainability

Only by ensuring the rights of women and girls across the globe will we get to justice and inclusion, economies that work for all, and sustaining our shared environment now and for future generations. The more education, the less unemployment of women; this relationship is as strong as it is in the male labour force. However, the relation between education and labour turnover is mediated largely by educational differences in on-the-job training among men, while educational differences in labour force attachment are the main source of turnover differences among women.

  • The global unemployment rate in 2020 stood at 5.7%, with women the majority.

  • Access to clean fuels and technologies climbed to 57.4%

  • Number of people without access to clean fuels and efficient technologies: 3 billion
